When his friend convinces him to steal a Porsche to earn quick cash, he learns that the car is really an autobot in disguise. Now, almost two decades and six movies later, people still flock to see the world based on animated toys cars that convert into walking and talking machines. When the first Transformers film landed in movie theaters in 2007, no one would've expected it to spark a global franchise.
